Consorta wants fresh presentations for resource-management conferenceConsorta Inc (Schaumburg, Ill) has called for educational speakers to present innovative, timely, thought-provoking, and educationally sound topics on cutting-edge practices and programs that are relevant to tertiary care providers, alternate provider sites, and healthcare manufacturers and suppliers.
Two types of sessions will be offered as part of the 2006 conference: plenary sessions with topics applicable to all attendees, and breakout sessions with topics specific to a targeted discipline or a general topic relating to personal and/or professional development. Out of the 16 total tracks offered at the conference, session topics include radiology, information technology, and cardiology.
More than 950 managers, senior-level personnel, and physicians from the Consorta membership—representing administration, cardiology, critical care, food and nutrition services, laboratory, materials management, nursing, operating room, pharmacy, purchasing, and radiology—are expected to attend the 2006 conference.
