Philips recognized for performance, customer service, and innovation

For the sixth consecutive year, customers ranked Philips Medical Systems (Andover, Mass) number one in overall service performance and overall manufacturer satisfaction, according to the 2004 IMV ServiceTrak Patient Monitoring Systems survey conducted by IMV Ltd (Greenbelt, Md). The organization also awarded Philips Medical with the top spot in cardiology and radiology ultrasound systems. Philips Medical's ultrasound business led the industry in 24 of the 33 service and performance factors studied in the survey. In addition, the company scored higher than the industry average in 30 attributes.

Additionally, Philips Medical was named the best large vendor for service quality in the 2004 Patient Monitoring Vendor Service Quality Report conducted by Medical Strategic Planning (Red Bank, NJ). Stentor maintains top position in PACS report

For the second consecutive year, Stentor Inc (Brisbane, Calif) has been ranked as the number one PACS vendor in the 2004 KLAS PACS Report (Orem, Utah). Stentor was the highest-ranked company in the report, which evaluates 10 major PACS vendors.
