Viztek will introduce a portable digital radiography (DR) detector at this year’s meeting of the Radiological Society of North America.

Enhancing workflow and supporting flexible positioning for a full range of exams, the 14” x17” portable DR unit integrates with most existing wall stands and table buckys without modification.

The portable DR delivers quality images in as few as five seconds, and the panel is enclosed in a durable, lightweight shock- and water-resistant 8.6lb casing. The technology has a 3.6 lp/mm with a 100 percent fill factor, supporting efficient collection of light and imaging from multiple exams. It also features a 14-bit a/d conversion for superb image quality.
