The total number of hospitals in the United States that are using Vocada’s critical test result management (CTRM) solution has now hit 125, thanks to a recent contract with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

CTRM is a technology-based pathway to automate and manage the closed-loop communication of critical and urgent patient findings. Veriphy, Vocada’s solution, helps to reduce inefficiencies and errors by replacing existing manual systems.

When a reporting clinician creates a critical result message using a phone or PACS, Veriphy will then notify the ordering clinician that a result is pending. The system will continue to send alerts until the message is retrieved, verifying to the reporting clinician that the message was received. Each message is monitored, documented, and stored by the software.
