Medicsight Receives Canadian Medical Device Licenses

Medicsight plc has received Canadian medical device licenses for its colon and lung CAD products, according to an announcement from MGT Capital Investments Inc, Medicsight's parent company.

The ColonCAD API and LungCAD API were awarded medical device licenses from Health Canada's Therapeutic Products Directorate (TPD) to begin marketing and selling the solutions in that country.

Both CAD products are designed to integrate into existing 3D workstations or PACS solutions.
