NightHawk Radiology Acquires Teleradiology Diagnostic Service

NightHawk Radiology Holdings Inc, operating as NightHawk Radiology Services, recently acquired Teleradiology Diagnostic Service Inc (TDS), a West Coast provider of off-hours teleradiology services. The move is designed to significantly expand NightHawk's presence in California.

The cash transaction is expected to be accretive to earnings per share in 2007, according to NightHawk. Once completed, TDS will operate as a subsidiary of NightHawk Radiology Holdings, under the continued leadership of TDA President and CEO Wilson Wong, MD.

TDS welcomed blending the two companies, with Wong stating his hope that the partnership will enhance the practices of radiology group customers and the quality of patient care.
