Hewlett-Packard Highlights its Archive Solution
Industry-standard interfaces on the Medical Archive Solution (MAS) from HP allow for connectivity to an existing PACS; unique functionality protects data and simplifies management.
Recent improvements include the addition of SCSI storage nodes and 500GB SATA storage nodes; higher-performance servers and components; VPN access for remote service monitoring and maintenance; software for prefetch, WORM, and e-mail notification; and factory preracked solutions, along with more building-blocks and blueprints for enterprise configurations and expanding appliances.
MAS is based on a grid architecture, making it capable of handling years of double-digit data growth, while protecting against hardware obsolescence. Built-in redundancy provides the high availability needed to deliver access to data—when and where it is needed.
Visit HP in booth 1929 at the 2007 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Annual Meeting and Exposition February 25 through March 1 in New Orleans.
