 Kodak Improves its EIM to Widen Access to Images
The new Carestream Enterprise Information Management (EIM) from Eastman Kodak Co's Health Group will use the HIMSS spotlight to show off a variety of new features that make integrating images with EMR systems more convenient.
Software upgrades provide a content browser that allows users to access a variety of patient files archived on storage systems managed by Kodak's EIM platform. The new functionality eliminates the need for clinicians to access multiple sites in order to obtain the images they require—one browser allows users to browse images in cardiology, oncology, and other imaging systems, as well as the existing access to radiographic procedures.
