Agfa Unveils New Products and Business Agreements

Agfa HealthCare will be filling its booth with new solutions and improved staples from the company's product line.

Making its debut at HIMSS is the company's Enterprise Clinical Dashboard, which allows physicians to access, through a single sign-on, clinical data from a myriad of individual systems, including lab results, EKG studies, pharmacy results, medical administration records, transcriptions, and progress reports, as well as cardiology and PACS images.

The company also will demonstrate the IMPAX Data Center (shown here), which provides large-scale multimedia storage of medical images and diagnostic results by compiling multimedia information that will support the EHR into one infrastructure.

Agfa representatives also will discuss recent partnership announcements, such as news that wireless solutions from Ascom are being tested as part of Agfa's Impax RIS/PACS; or the recent agreement to integrate Vocada's Veriphy critical test result management solution into Agfa RIS/PACS offerings.
