Deadline Approaches for ARRS Educational Grants
Two radiology residents or fellows will be awarded grants at the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS)'s 107th Annual Meeting, slated to kick off on May 6 in Orlando, Fla.
Funded again by FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, each award is $2,500 and intended to help cover registration and courses for the entire ARRS meeting, as well as lodging and travel to and from the conference.
At the time of the meeting, applicants must be either a third- or fourth-year radiology resident enrolled in a residency program in the United States, or a fellow, as well as being either be a current member of the ARRS or have a membership application in-process at the time of the application.
Hopefuls must submit a statement of why they want to attend and what they hope to glean from the meeting (no more than two pages, double-spaced); a letter of recommendation from the training/program director (along with contact information), including a statement of good standing; and a résumé.

To be considered, applications must be received by March 1. Winners will be notified by April 1 and be formally recognized during the Scholars and Awards session.
