Site Sighting: E-Cycling Central Helps Dispose of Old Electronics Safely With an Eye to the Environment

Upgrading to new tech toys is so much fun that the thought of what to do with outdated, aging technology is a question many never ask. A new site created by the Environmental Issues Council of the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) hopes to change that.

E-Cycling Central is a quick, free way to access a list of reuse, recycle, and donation programs around the country.

Information on the site is arranged by the user's state of residence. Lists of regional organizations are provided. The site also includes specific details for each entry, such as the ment.

The site does recommend doing a little research before heading out and includes a list of questions to ask recyclers.
